About Us

At DuPont Clinic, we focus on you—your needs, your comfort, and your care. We’re committed to creating a welcoming environment and meeting the unique needs of every patient. Our clinic offers specialty-trained doulas, a dedicated nursing team, aromatherapy, and private consultation rooms with comfortable seating, TVs, and WiFi. We can also assist with travel planning and financial arrangements.

Located in a discreet office building in the heart of Washington, DC, our clinic is designed with privacy in mind. Every patient has their own private room—no shared waiting areas and no lines—so you will likely never see another patient during your visit. We believe abortion access is a right for all people, regardless of the reason behind their decision. Our team provides a compassionate, supportive space where patients can receive high-quality care.

Our clinical team includes 25 experienced professionals, including board-certified physicians specializing in complex family planning, obstetrics and gynecology, advanced practice clinicians, registered nurses, and patient care guides. We are dedicated to providing compassionate pregnancy termination care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Matthew Reeves is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the DuPont Clinic, a private practice providing patient-centered abortion care in all trimesters. With the team at the DuPont Clinic, Dr. Reeves has worked to re-envision the private abortion experience for all patients without a waiting room, develop new shortened protocols for later abortion, improve moderate sedation techniques, and introduce new gynecologic instruments. Among notable service delivery changes, DuPont Clinic was the first practice to use lidocaine to induce fetal demise and the first North American practice to use cabergoline routinely to prevent breast pain.
